The long-anticipated approval of PE player Cerberus' takeover of Boston's Caritas Cristi medical center was approved last week. Boston.com has it. WSJ (sub.) noted the implications this weekend, mentioning Tennessee-based Vanguard, Ardent and Lifepoint as being involved in nonprofit acquisitions.
