'Fair taxation' protest

Tennesseans for Fair Taxation are demanding the State close what the group perceives as a loophole in tax laws that let companies domeciled elsewhere reduce taxable income by Tennessee subsidiaries making payments to parent companies for such things as use of company trademarks.
