PureSafety sold
Former Nashville- and now Franklin-based PureSafety, a spinout from Thompson Machinery, is now part of Underwriters Laboratories (UL), says a press release today. Read about it here.

PureSafety adds content director
PureSafety President and CEO Bill Grana announced today the company has added Kevin Eggers, who previously held a similar position with Dealerskins.com, and who retired as a Chief Petty Officer after an enlisted career in the U.S. Navy. PureSafety has recently stressed it'll be expanding through acquisitions, which means an ever-broadening content footprint for Eggers to manage.

PureSafety relocation
PureSafety, the Nashville provider of training, safety, occupational health and medical management software, announced it's moving from Murfreesboro Road in Nashville to Cool Springs II. The company was launched a decade ago, and largely bankrolled by the family owning 65-year-old Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation, a dealer in heavy equipment. Thompson Machinery, itself, long maintained a presence on Murfreesboro Road. PureSafety came in at 402 in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, published in January.

PureSafety acquisition
Nashville's PureSafety, a provider of online safety-training and risk-management software solutions, announced its acquisition of Colorado-based Unique Software Solutions, Inc., which has a customer base of over 2,700 active installations.
