Bob Duthie (at left) and Julie May are, as we say, their own people. Now, Duthie and son Andrew have sold their 20-year-old Duthie Associates to May's bytes of knowledge (bok). The elder Duthie is staying with the business, when he's not boating the Great Loop, while Andrew has other plans. For May, it's another step in becoming a one-stop stop. Here's the story.

NTC launches 'Turning the Tide' site

Nashville Technology Council (NTC) this week launched its Turning the Tide (T3) website, still in an early stage of completion, in an effort to match IT talent with employers and encourage technology-oriented degree-winners to remain in the state. NTC simultaneously turned-up its revamped central website, which was developed by member-vendor Remarkable Wit.

Tennessee legislature's website 'upgrade'

Our thanks to Gail Kerr, Tennessean columnist, for reminding us this morning about the General Assembly's website upgrade and a new URL. Unfortunately, while the site looks miles better, and the addition of staffers' names is great, the search function, as of today, absolutely stinks.
