Clevenger: CareHere! model evolving
[Corrected 12:53 p.m.] Ernie Clevenger, who co-founded CareHere! LLC in 2004 with COO Ben Baker, told VNC his company is evolving in response to market signals. The Brentwood-based company provides primary-medical and occupational health services on-site. In addition to expanding pharmacy services and enabling multiple employers to share a single CareHere! site, Clevenger confirmed the venture is "exploring adding teleconferencing to supplement on-site care for our patients. [Teleconferencing] also has applications for pandemics," he added. Prior to becoming president of CareHere!, Clevenger's experience includes founder or co-founder of Healthcare Solutions Group, CareATC, MyHealthGuide, EBM Solutions, and president and EVP, respectively, of American Progressive Benefits and Alliance Underwriters. Over the years, Clevenger has also been associated with the Self-Insurance Institute of America, the Workgroup on Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) and other advocacy and industry groups. Clevenger earned his MBA at Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management and is a graduate of David Lipscomb University.
