VU bio-bond discovery

In the latest Science magazine and in yesterday's release from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Prof. Billy Hudson, director of the Vanderbilt Center for Matrix Biology, have discovered a new chemical bond in bio tissue that is, they say, "the ‘glue’ that helps hold together the building-block molecules of collagen networks that underlie cells and provide structural integrity to all tissues.”
